I got WH3 of a sale not to long ago and i recently started up an Empire campaign and i noticed an intresting Faction effect on Karl Franz, Diplomatic immunity from trespassing in Empire regions. I played a fair but of WH2 and my main issue with the Empires Imperial authority system was the fact that the AI could screw your entire campaign by not letting u help them defend there lands as they downright refuced to allow access when down to there last settlement and staring down 4 full stacks of vamps. Was that Diplomatic immunity in WH2 at some point and i just missed it or was that changed for Karl Franz in WH3?

When you buy total war warhammer 3 dosent that unlock warhamer's 2 and Warhammer's 1 races and factions ?

how did you hire spearmen with shields without a barracks?

"away from the rest of the Empire" only inaccurate part of your clip. You didn't point out there is a choice to transport back to the Empire. Though you did show the window for a moment.

A little late, but I just found your channel. As a Sisters of Twilight main I disagree with your opinion of Zoats. Look at their unbuffed stats, their charge bonus is 28, Melee Attack is 30, Melee Defense is 40, and a paltry 64 Speed. Zoats are clearly Melee Cav, NOT Shock Cav. They are the Anvil not the Hammer. Combine those states with a bound defense and healing spell and they are great at bolstering the fragile Wood Elf line. With all that said I do not blame you for confusing them for Shock Cav. The Wood Elf tech buffs the Zoats charge bonus to 78 making people automatically assume they are Shock Cav and force them into a role they were never designed for. I usually run 2 Zoats in my army as a reserve force to bolster my frontline of Treeman or to counter flanking Cav. Anyway I hope I do not come off as yelling or preaching, this is just an attempt to correct a misconception I see everywhere online . I am quickly becoming a fan of your channel and look forward to future Total Warhammer content.

In my game, Tyrion doesn't start with any cavalry. How the hell am I supposed to use a strategy with cavalry in an army without cavalry?

you skip a lot on turn 3, like what edict you picked first or how you leveled elspeth with those 2 points.

I own Warhammer 1 and 2 through epic and I played 3 when I paid for the game pass, yet I didn't enjoy playing 1 and 2 but 3, should I still buy 3?

There are a few spots near the north east of your capital that give 70% ambush chance managed to annihilate the dwarf armies. Sack settlements then occupy, then sell them to the ogres of pigbarter.

Im not gonna lie this has got to be the most mismanaged faction in the entire fking game, it relies on you taking and holding settlements but it's not giving you a way to protect settlements, you cant build walls, cant upgrade garrison, and if you lose settlements you army literally continues to take attrition until eventually your armies are just dead you dont even need to fight the enemy for them to kill you, youll simpy die from not having amber, the good units also require amber, you cant really rely on diplomacy as you need the amber, the fact chaos always comes straight to the player makes this even more of an issue as losing some small settlements doesnt hurt every other faction but it literally gives your faction cancer, then we go to the actual battles the unit have such little leadership they cant hold an enemy off to give the archers any wiggle room, you cant hide archers in trees as it'll block their arrows, they have such a low ammo supply its pathetic, the way the settlements work rely on you essentially having one big settlement that some how is supposed to fund your entire campaign its actually fkin stupid they thought this was a good idea, especially considering that they dont even have to attack the main hub to cripple your faction through attrition, like how are you suppsoed to expand enough to get amber when a random rebelion can cause your faction to not be able to heal, reaserch, and progress the main goal, also a full army literally cant go toe to toe with any chaos army you need to doom stack to even have a 50% chance of winning, i think this has heen the only faction ive actually hate since playing theyre just really garbage in almost every department even their archers arent that amazing compared to other range units from other factions yet thats what the game is pushing you to use they dont even have good enough range to outshoot other archers how did thta make any sense.

I'm having a blast as Miao Ying, but it got even better when I bought the DLC for the new Jade Custodians and it unlocked a whole bunch of new troops mid-campaign. Unfortunately I got all these fancy new troops around turn 280 lol.

I love strategie games. Never got around to play any total war games and this one peaks my interest. However! If I need an over 30 min break down of what DLC unlocks a game that in a total package costs me over 300€, or at least 150 just to experience an uncommong race 100%, then the game is just too greedy for me to enjoy. That is coming from a EU4 enjoyer... Jumping in from scratch is just too demanding on my wallet, which is a shame, since I do see myself enjoying this game a lot! So unless the publisher comes up with a compact package or a subscribtion based system to break down the many paywalls, me and many other players will skip this game. Mainly due to it being a skeleton as a base game, compared to what it actually can be.

After 3 minutes I had to stop already, just shoot with the mortar on max range, put the handgunners uphill behind your frontline, flank the crossbows with the cav, let the melee play out since with the buff of KARL FRANZ there is no problem winning it and hammer them with the CAV from behind Why this extra position? Why the worse set up? I dont get it

this channel is a goldmine, ive been getting back into wh3 for a little while so i love it. any chance for a katarina campaign start some tips, that campaign can get quite hectic imo

PATCH UPDATE: apologies champions - the 5.1 update removed Dwarf Warriors as recruitable from the basic main building which does impact this run somewhat. I currently don't have time to rework it, but if you find a great alternative please feel free to post it below this pinned comment so others can learn from. FYI, this is why avoid using cheese and exploits (so the guides don't date) but it looks like I didn't see this one coming, so apologies champions!

The intro was epic, when i watched the first part of this guide i sighed and launched my 13th karl franz campaign.

I tried to follow the steps, I still don’t understand how you manage to get 3 slots to hire when you didn’t build barracks. Confused😢

You can get trade agreements with Whisenland, Kislev/Bretonia, Dwarfs in that order if you join theire starting wars.

The only thing I would add is that on L/VH, leaving Kemmler alive for Leon Leoncoeur to defeat can be a big mistake. Often Leon fails miserably (he gets attacked by Belakor) and Kemmler comes back with a vengeance when you least expect it. Destroying Kemmler and gifting all that territory to Leon is probably the way to go.
